Santa Fe PD Seeks Wanted Man

The Santa Fe Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a man who is wanted. The man hasn’t been seen since the middle of 2022, according to officials.

Toby Ortiz was reported missing on January 3 and last seen in June of last year in Santa Fe.

Ortiz has an active arrest warrant for kidnapping and two misdemeanor warrants. Police said Ortiz is considered dangerous, and they don’t want anyone to try to approach him if he is seen.

Court records show Sylvan Alcachupas, the man accused of shooting and killing a pizzeria owner, has a long criminal record. He even had a warrant out for his arrest at the time of the murder and was on probation. So why was he on the streets in the first place? asks KQRE TV. Video shows arrest of Albuquerque bosque stabbing suspect Alcachupas was charged in August 2020 with armed robbery for robbing a Speedway in Valencia County. He was given a plea deal just this year to be on ‘supervised probation’ and given no jail time.
