Man Held In Murder of Muslim Men, Says APD Police


Muhammed Syed, he New Mexico man suspected of murdering four Muslim victims – and charged so far in the deaths of two of them – has been ordered to be held without bond pending trial as prosecutors argued that he was a danger to his own family and the greater community.

  Joseph Gonzales, the brother of convicted murderer Fabian Gonzales, will remain behind bars until trial. The state asked the court to keep 44-year-old Gonzales locked up after Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputies say he shot and killed Abner Antillon in the South Valley in August over an argument about speeding, reports KRQE TV. Court records show Sylvan Alcachupas, the man accused of shooting and killing a pizzeria owner, has a long criminal record. He even had a warrant out for his arrest at the time of the murder and was on probation. So why was he on the streets in the first place? asks KQRE TV. Video shows arrest of Albuquerque bosque stabbing suspect Alcachupas was charged in August 2020 with armed robbery for robbing a Speedway in Valencia County. He was given a plea deal just this year to be on ‘supervised probation’ and given no jail time.
